So Many WIPS (nsfw)(Witcher, Knights) and other News (Patreon)

I'll talk about the WIPS a bit and then I have a bit of a ramble below, but if you're not up for my rambles you can probably skip it. It's about Patreon though, and about archiving stuff. So it might be interesting nonetheless.

So when a new year starts I usually create a new yearly folder and go through my old one for WIPs and pieces I want to carry over in the new year to hopefully finish. Sadly, often stuff gets forgotten or I just don't manage. Or the outlines are finished but they are older and I'm not into that outlining brush anymore? Especially that last one happens, bcs the outline brush changes how a piece looks for me overall. It's kind of sad bcs a lot of those are kinda cool but might require a full redraw for me to make it work and often new ideas just happen.  

So I don't know how many of these I'll actually get to redraw. But remember, the waxplay prompt from last year was actually a sketch from 2020 that I unearted! I did want to share them anyway, and gauge your interest in them. They are in various stages of completion. Some are super rough sketches, some are sketches that I would probably post bcs they are clean enough, but it feels like they are missing something. Some are outlines and the mermaid!Geralt one is actually nearly done but I'm not using the brushes anymore that I used for this one. 

I think when it comes to the ones I really want to finish it would probably be the following:
The Douglas in a kilt one would be cool. But something about his pose throws me off so it would be a full redraw which is keeping me from working on it. The Geralt on the horse is a redraw of one of my favourite Leyendeckers and I really really want to finish that one. The Yenralt one is kinda nearly done bcs I know the background will be quick so maybe... Oh and I also added two pencil pages of the CamboyAU. That one is up high on my list! Even though this one is not smut but Geralt being an anxious bean XD

Interestingly I have no CoD WIPS. I tend to draw CoD to blow off steam, it's always rough smut that I finish in one sitting that just wants out of my system XD Which is probably why they work so well for me right now, with my life changing drastically I just needed to turn off my brain and just feel the smut. Which sounds incredibly weird, I'm sorry XD

So now one last WIP related question, which one do you like? I can see myself cleaning some of these up just a little or finishing them, but I'd love to know how you feel.

Now to something else:

I spent the last three days organizing stuff here. Especially bcs the Patreon tagging system is peculiar and I used to use it like Insta, which is NOT how it works XD One and a half days was just trying to retag every post over here. The UI is actively working against you though, it is so hard to scroll back to find anything. And when you finally manage to scroll back it refreshes and you have to scroll back AGAIN. I don't know who built this site but I wish they thought about making galleries or something, it's really hard to navigate places. I changed the tiers to something more coherent and did the logo drawings and I also finally added a tier header to the most popular tier XD Only took me three years...

In good news, I did put things into Collections now. So there are collections for the three bigger fandom things I work in (Knights, Witcher, CoD)and there is also a collection for Kinktober and the Camboy AU. I also cleaned up the tags (which meant opening and editing 750+ posts one after another by hand u_u Just so you know what I was doing the last two days) so things should be easier to find now. 

In not so light news, I finished cleaning up the posts that would be offending to Patreon ToS. Somebody wrote in their exit survey that they unsubbed because I changed my nsfw policy and I usually don't mention that stuff here, because I know it gives off a negative vibe. But I want to reiterate that this change is not on me. I saw creators get banned and I can not affort to lose my income. I am actively looking for ways for people to still have this kind of content while not losing my own account, it's just not as easy. I know that's not what some signed up for but I am scrambling to make it work.

I also had to archive some of the older posts. Which included the Selfcare comic. Which is why I will make a pdf of the comic and put it up for download here. The question is, do you want a pdf of the really old stuff as well? Like a collection? I archived 2020 and 2021, it's still up for the two highest tiers, but I had some scraping happening and thought having two years worth of content would be enough, so it's okay to archive the older stuff. And Patreon really sucks at scrolling back anyway so it should be okay. That being said, if there is anything in that time period (2020-2021) that you liked and miss let me know, I will get it your way. This is really mostly for my own wellbeing and for security, I did not want to punish anybody.

I can't wait to get back to drawing now though, I have been typing in tags for two days and I am so done with it. I also have to start with February prep but I will make a separate post for this. December was complicated because I wanted to make it right for everybody but that way I spent a lot of time trying to figure out which fandom merch people wanted. So I have to figure out how to make that easier for people somehow.
