I think I want to make this a thing. Sometimes it is a struggle, what do I post where, what is good enough or just a sketch or a fanart piece that might work on one platform and not on others. So Patreon will just have a collection on everything. Because I know people are not following on every platform. And I know I can't only make Patreon stuff because especially nowadays it is so important to at least post on social media sometimes (damn you algorithm) so Sundays will be collection days, everything I've not posted here yet will make its way in here.

This week was the last of the year as well as the first one. I already posted the rat knight that was my first piece overe here, but the landscape ink drawing was the last one. I have a tradition that I sit down somewhere quiet, usually somewhere outside in Vienna, and draw or paint what comes to mind. Sometimes it is just inspired by the wildlife or people. This year I felt like trying my hand at actually drawing the landscape and it was very soothing.

On Friday I got my new sketchbook and I had to follow up on the rat knight and draw some pose doodles on the first page. I really like the shapes in this character even though I know I will probably never use it again. The Moleskine takes well to watercolors, as long as you don't expect it to work with a lot of water. I am really curious if the gouache I got will work in this sketchbook!

The cat was just a doodle. I should not have drawn it in A4, there is not enough detail for an A4 illustration, and I'm not especially fond of the contrasts and the overuse of black for the background in it but I guess I took something away from it.

The digital doodle was inspired by a hashtag on Twitter, the witcherlass hashtag that people use to introduce their original female characters inspired by the Witcher universe. I've never read the books and never fully played through the games but I fell in love with the series, even though it has its problematic scenes. I'm still enjoying the heck out of it because it is so campy and 90's but it does not take itself too serious. And I would not have thought that Caville was such a good grunty and grumpy Witcher.

I hope your week was well, I made progres on the redesign of the Witches armor. I did not want to post the character sheet today because, tbh, I want to space the content a bit out. I'd hate for December to repeat itself and me not posting for two weeks just because I threw everything out in a weekend.
But I am very excited for my story which is something I could not say last year.
