man i love this movie, its so underrated. idk how the collector didnt turn into a slasher icon cause hes so bad ass! i highly recommend watching the collection. its a pretty awesome follow up to this movie. & i get what you mean about not doing more damage when the killer is down but hey its a horror movie lmao, ive seen a lot worse. one of the reasons i love this movie is because Arkin is actually competent unlike a lot of other horror protagonists and does whatever he can to save himself & the family. yet it still isnt enough! i always appreciate a horror movie with a dark ending
