His people were getting erradicated, he eventually found out governments knew some degree of what was going on and he decided to just put a stop to it. He probably would've turned them on if the sentinals were all dealt with, but they decided to basically limit their effectiveness as a unit instead of prioritiizing the dude LITERALLY COMMITTING GENOCIDE. so the virus is deadly. eventually the virus will consume its host, inevitably taking over, and killing the host. in cable’s case he has telekinesis, which can be used to keep the virus at bay, which he eventually learns to do. so since bastion ripped his arm off the virus has nothing to consume and replace. maybe if cable was able to regrow a normal arm by any means the virus would be able to take control again, if cable isn’t preventing it.

I side with Magneto. There has been no end to the suffering of mutants at the hands of humans. They keep saying Magneto declared war on mutants, but all he did was respond to their attempts to wipe out mutants. You can only turn the other cheek so many times before you run out of cheeks. This is man who has survived the Holocaust, only to see it be repeated with his new family. Also Cyclops keeps saying Magneto caused all of this, but they were all going to die to the sentinels if it wasn't for Magneto shutting them all down. Then Charles restored the power and got everyone fucked up by the sentinels. How anyone does not side with Magneto in this is beyond me.

you are remember incorrectly or mixing them up with lex and clark who in some iterations knew each other as kids as they like they make their relationship like the tv show smallville vs the golden age standard of luther being in his late 30s/early 40s when clark was in high school. magnus grew up in germany and xavier in upstate new york. xavier came from OLD money and went to private schools. magnus grew up in a small village with no money. no way they could have ever met as kids except for ultimate comics where its a whole different universe from the comics this show is adapting and i dont know that universe's background like i know the 616.

well that wasnt apocalypse's face on the moon. that is the blue area of the moon where kree and inhumans have lived so those statues and ruins are from one of those civilizations. it has atmosphere including oxygen which is why rogue can be in "space". but its all about the writer: some writers have super so powered he can survive in a vacuum unaided; other writers have him needing a whole space suit. same with rogue. but in general: she has carol danvers original powers. if she could survive in a vacuum, theoretically so can rogue.

Yes. There is the adventures of cyclops and phoenix with jean, kid cable and scott in the future. The sequel "the further adventures of cyclops and phoenix" has them in the past. Thats how we get sinister's origin story. Both have apocalypse in it. They are also adaptating "Rise of Apocalypse " which is the origin of apocalypse.

The statues when Rogue was fighting Bastion on the moon wasn't Apocalypse. That's the Watcher's home. In the comics at least, he keeps all kinds of powerful artifacts safe in that base on the moon.
